Programmers FAQs

How Does Freelance Web Programming Work?
Freelance Web Programming helps individuals and businesses find programmers for any work they need done with their website, scripts, database, Flash, Java, or get a Developer to consult with you with your technical problems and questions. It allows you to find experts at the lowest possible prices.

How Much Does It Cost?
There is no sign up fee, no monthly fee, or commission for webmasters posting their projects.

Why Should I Use Freelance Web Programming?
Because we take care of both our webmasters and programmers. Freelance Web Programming makes every effort possible to assure the successful operation of its marketplace. Bids and message boards are monitored daily to assure that all members are complying to all rules and regulations. Webmasters and Programmers are always encouraged to complete reviews for projects once they are complete.

How Do I Place A Bid?
First you need to make sure you have an account. If you don't click here to create one. Once you have an account you can find a project you are interested in bidding for and submit a bid.

Can I Modify My Bid After It Has Been Submitted?
No. You cannot modify your bid.

How Do I Communicate With Webmasters?
You must use our message boards. Once you have been selected for the project you will be emailed the webmasters email address so you can contact him directly. DO NOT post your email address in your bid or the message boards. Freelance Web Programming has a strict policy with programmers trying to avoid paying commission. This service is not free to run and we feel our commission is very reasonable. Our message boards and bids are monitored daily to assure all members are complying with all site policies.

Can I Get A Refund On Commission That I Was Charged?
All commission prices stand. This is to cover admin costs. You can contact us and let us know if you are having a problem with a Webmaster.

How Do I Get Paid For A Project?
This is left to you and the webmaster to negotiate. Freelance Web Programming recommends PayPal to transfer funds when the project is complete.

I Have A Account. Why Can't I Bid On A Project?
This could be because the project has already closed and has not been removed from our database. Or the project is in a frozen state. When a project is in a frozen state you can't bid on it but you may still communicate with the project owner via the message board.
